The Role

• Oversee the daily implementation, continuous monitoring, and maintenance of security configurations for information systems.
• Act as a key liaison between system owners and information security personnel.
• Ensure security controls are effectively implemented and operational throughout the system lifecycle.
• Conduct regular vulnerability scans and manage the remediation of identified security weaknesses.
• Develop and maintain Plans of Action and Milestones (POAMs) to mitigate risks.
• Monitor security controls to maintain Authorizations to Operate (ATOs) and document compliance in GRC applications.

What You'll Need

• Minimum of seven years of experience as an Information Systems Security Officer (ISSO) or in a similar role within a cleared facility.
• At least eight years of experience in the IT sector, or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g., Bachelor's with 8 years, Master's with 6 years, Associate's with 10 years, High School Diploma with 12 years).
• Possess at least one of the following certifications: CISSP, GISP, CASP, CISM, or IAM Level II.
• Hold at least one of the following cloud security certifications: AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner, AWS Certified Security – Specialty, CCSP, AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Associate, AZ-500, or Google Professional Cloud Security Engineer.
• Familiarity with security tools such as Tenable Nessus, IBM Guardium, HP Weblnspect, and NMAP.
• Must possess a current and active Top Secret security clearance with SCI eligibility.
