Satellite Communications Payload Systems Engineer

Payload Systems Engineer required to work on radio frequency RF and optical communications spacecraft equipment to receive, process, amplify, and retransmit Earth Space and Space Earth communication signals.

Requirements, deep technical design experience with one or more of

Space Antennas.

Transponders, low power signalling, noise filter, frequency conversion, and amplification.

High Power Amplifiers or HPAs and associated signal boosting.

Receivers and radio wave processors

In addition to one or more of the above you will have experience on collaborative projects and bid writing for framework programmes such as IUK, ESA or Horizon.

Responsibilities

Technical delivery on projects, technical consultancy to businesses, engagement with universities and Research centres on satellite payload communication systems.
