Senior Information Systems Security Engineer [$252k/yr+] S with Security Clearance

Candidates must already possess an active Secret clearance to be considered.

Summary: • Design secure system and network architectures across multi-tiered enclaves and cloud-based big data environments. • Execute DoD RMF system accreditation processes, implement DISA STIGs/SRGs, and apply NIST SP 800-53 security contr ols. • Assess operational risks for integrated open source and COTS/GOTS software, utilizing automated vulnerability scanning tools.

Qualifications && Compensation: • 9+ years of experience as an ISSE with large multi-tiered programs and Bachelors in related field; OR 7 years relevant experience with Masters in related field; OR High School Diploma or equivalent and 13 years relevant experience. • Total Compensation: $252k+ yearly Job Description: • Create, review, and edit authorization documentation to maintain comprehensive security authorization packages. • Manage POA&&Ms, workflows, and artifact generation within eMASS, Xacta, or equivalent RMF repositories. • Provide security planning, risk assessments, and vulnerability management across Linux (RHEL), AWS, and Kubernetes platforms. • Guide engineering teams on implementing system-level security contr ols and maintaining secure baseline configurations. • Implement automated security scanning, script automation using Bash, and interpret network protocol security requirements.

Telework: This position supports a hybrid telework arrangement, requiring an average of 1-2 days per week on-site.
