Senior PPC Executive (up to £36,000)

Immediate is home to some of the biggest and most loved consumer brands in the UK, including Radio Times, Good Food and BBC Gardeners World magazine. Our trusted, quality content reaches millions of people a month across digital, print, video, podcasts, apps and live events.

We’re the destination for people looking to get more from the things they love. We’re here to inspire, fuel, encourage and educate.

Whether it’s the big things, or the little things; from reaching fitness goals to savouring good food, cultivating outdoor spaces, or enjoying the latest TV sensation – we help bring our audiences joy!

About the role

As a Senior PPC Executive you will own and drive the paid search strategy behind subscriber acquisition across Immediate Media's portfolio of brands. You'll be responsible for developing and executing PPC campaigns that deliver new print and digital subscriptions at the volume, spend and CPA targets the business needs, primarily through Google Ads, while also identifying and testing other PPC opportunities beyond Google.

You'll take full ownership of your channel: proactively shaping the roadmap, pushing the team's thinking forward, and collaborating closely with Acquisition Managers, brand teams, and design and editorial colleagues to get best-in-class assets live. We're after someone who brings energy, curiosity and accountability to the role.

As a Senior PPC Executive you will;

  • Develop and execute the PPC strategy for driving print and digital subscriptions across Immediate Media's brands, including Good Food, Radio Times, History Extra and Gardeners' World.
  • Plan, build and optimise campaigns, primarily on Google Ads, to hit targeted subscription volumes, spend and CPA across each brand.
  • Proactively identify and test PPC opportunities beyond Google to diversify and strengthen the channel mix.
  • Work collaboratively and proactively with Acquisition Managers and key stakeholders, including brand teams, design and editorial, to brief and land best-in-class creative and landing page assets.
  • Build and apply measurement models that demonstrate the incremental sales impact of PPC activity, informing budget and strategy decisions.
  • Stay ahead of the latest innovations in the Google Ads stack, including new campaign types, AI-driven audiences and automated bidding, and share that knowledge to help drive the wider team's agenda forward.
  • Take full ownership and accountability for the performance, growth and efficiency of the PPC channel.
  • Hands-on experience running PPC campaigns across Google Ads and ideally Apple Search Ads, with a strong focus on performance and efficiency.
  • A commercial mindset, comfortable working with CAC, LTV, CPA and volume targets, and able to build or apply measurement models that prove incrementality.
  • Up-to-date expertise across the latest Google Ads innovations, including new campaign types, AI-powered audiences and bidding, and confidence sharing that knowledge with others.
  • A genuinely proactive, self-starting approach, someone who spots opportunities and takes ownership rather than waiting to be asked.
  • Strong collaborator, able to work effectively with acquisition, brand, design and editorial stakeholders to get the best out of every campaign.
  • A hunger to learn, develop and grow the channel, with a strong sense of accountability for results.
  • A relaxed working environment with regular socials including a summer festival
  • Supportive well-being initiatives and benefits, talks & workshops, and Mental Health First aiders & Champions
  • 25 days holiday plus a day for your birthday. Our offices will be closed between Christmas and New Year’s which are in addition to your annual entitlement
  • Tailored training and development through both our inhouse learning platform and LinkedIn Learning
  • A progressive and transparent culture focused on your development
  • Flexible / hybrid working plus early finish Fridays
  • Cycle to work scheme
  • Enhanced Family Policies including paternity, adoption and surrogacy leave. We also provide a pregnancy loss, fertility, and carers policy
  • Competitive pension plans and Life Assurance
  • A newly renovated modern office with lots of collaborative spaces

At Immediate, we pride ourselves on our open, inclusive, collaborative, and dynamic culture that empowers our people to thrive and give their best. We care deeply about our people, our local communities and the impact we have on the environment. Our active Diversity & Inclusion network, comprehensive well-being programs, and clear sustainability strategies reflect this commitment.

Immediate is a place you can grow, be supported, and make a difference.
