REMOTE :: Enterprise Scheduling Engineer (Automic / OneAutomation)

I am looking for candidates who can demonstrate:

Prior experience performing installation and configuration of the Automic OneAutomation platform in enterprise environments.
Prior experience migrating jobs, workflows, calendars, and scheduling objects between legacy and target OneAutomation environments.
Experience leading or significantly contributing to workload automation migration programs.
Experience supporting mission-critical batch processing environments where operational continuity is essential.

Successfully deploy and configure required OneAutomation components within the FedEx Freight environment.
Complete migration of workload automation assets from the FedEx Corporation environment with minimal business disruption.
Establish repeatable migration processes and documentation.
Reduce migration risk through thorough testing and validation.
Serve as the subject matter expert for OneAutomation installation, configuration, and migration activities throughout the TSA Exit program.
Recommended Manager (or equivalent) with demonstrated Automic OneAutomation implementation and migration experience.

Additional Info:

• Work setup is 100% Remote
• Reason for opening: Crucial TSA Exit / separation program requiring migration of batch workloads from FedEx Corporation to the target FedEx Freight platform.
• Scope & Deliverables: Complete end-to-end installation, workload discovery, testing, cutover, hypercare, and operational runbook creation for Automic / OneAutomation platform.
• Cross-functional alignment required with Linux, Database, Windows Server, DevOps, and application owner teams.
• Interview process will focus heavily on hands-on migration troubleshooting and architectural understanding of Broadcom Automic objects.

NON-NEGOTIABLES

• Broadcom Automic / OneAutomation (6+ yrs) Deep expertise installing, configuring, and troubleshooting platform components, agents, execution queues, and scheduling objects.
• Enterprise Workload Migration (6+ yrs) Proven experience executing end-to-end batch scheduling migrations between legacy and target environments.
• Platform Troubleshooting & Systems Admin (6+ yrs) Strong root-cause analysis within both Linux and Windows server environments.

Title: RM - Enterprise Scheduling Engineer (OneAutomation Platform & Migration) Location: Remote

POSITION OVERVIEW The OneAutomation Platform & Migration Engineer serves as the primary technical lead for installing, configuring, onboarding, and migrating Broadcom Automic OneAutomation workload automation capabilities. Working as part of a mission-critical TSA Exit / separation program, this role ensures the seamless transition of batch processing workloads from the legacy FedEx Corporation environment to the FedEx Freight platform without operational disruption.

DAY-TO-DAY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Install and configure Broadcom Automic OneAutomation platform components, agents, execution queues, calendars, variables, and security roles.
• Analyze legacy workloads, inventorying jobs, dependencies, scripts, and recovery mechanisms to establish application onboarding plans.
• Execute end-to-end migrations of jobs, workflows, and scheduling objects from legacy environments to target target platforms.
• Partner with Linux, database, DevOps, and infrastructure teams to validate connectivity and integration across development, test, and production environments.
• Develop migration testing plans, perform functional/integration testing, and resolve scheduling conflicts or dependency failures.
• Produce operational runbooks, establish governance standards, and conduct knowledge transfer for post-migration stabilization.
