Functional Analyst / Business Analyst

Job Summary

We are seeking a Functional Analyst / Business Analyst to identify business challenges, develop effective system solutions, and work closely with development and testing teams to deliver system enhancements. The ideal candidate will have strong IE (Integrated Eligibility) domain knowledge, SQL skills, experience creating functional design documents, and excellent communication skills.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze business requirements and identify effective system solutions.
• Work hands-on to design and implement system enhancements.
• Create detailed functional design documents and technical specifications.
• Develop and utilize SQL queries for analysis and validation.
• Collaborate with development and QA/testing teams throughout the solution delivery lifecycle.
• Monitor, guide, and support junior team members.
• Present proposed solutions and deliverables to clients and stakeholders.
• Ensure solutions meet business requirements and project objectives.

Required Skills

• Strong Integrated Eligibility (IE) domain knowledge, preferably with SNAP, TANF, and Medicaid.
• Strong SQL skills.
• Experience creating functional design documents.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively with technical and business teams.
