Food Service - Chemist Lv2

As a Chemist Level 2, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring that our products meet or exceed customer requirements for quality and food safety. You'll have the opportunity to develop an in-depth understanding of specific systems and contribute to our success through various impactful activities.

Responsibilities

• Assess quality parameters and systems, including cross-checks, raw materials, calibration, maintenance, procedures, food safety, training, auditing, and oversight of analytical testing performed in control rooms.
• Provide process improvement support, specialized testing, training, and audit systems. Analyze data, identify trends, troubleshoot, and take corrective action. Communicate regarding processing data, final product, and wastewater.
• Maintain and coordinate the chemist technician partnership and training systems.
• Approve final production and ensure compliance with customer specifications.
• Handle customer audits, initiatives, and follow-ups.
• Independently solve moderately complex issues with minimal supervision, escalating more complex issues to appropriate staff.
• Other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
• Two years of related work experience.

Preferred Qualifications

• Proven ability to anticipate, recognize, and solve process and laboratory problems.
• Ability to handle multiple priorities with large projects.
• Experience in food safety, quality, and regulatory fields.
