Wet Fire Sprinkler Designer / Project Manager

About the Role

Specific responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Liaising with project team, suppliers, builders and sprinkler fitters
• Supervision of preparation of shop drawings with AutoCAD and Revit
• Authorise drawings for construction
• Ordering pipe and material

The successful applicant must have:

• Minimum 2 years experience in the fire protection contracting industry.
• Thorough knowledge of AS 2118.1 and the BCA.
• Experienced in the design of fire suppression systems and, possibly, fire detection systems
• Computer design knowledge with HydraCad or similar.
• Excellent design, planning and scheduling abilities.
• High accuracy and attention to detail.
• Self-motivation.
• Good organisational skills and an ability to work in a team environment and under pressure.
