6-Month Contract Melbourne (Hybrid) NV1 Clearance Required

We're partnering with a leading organisation delivering critical technology initiatives and are looking for a skilled Data Engineer to design, build and optimise modern data platforms that support business critical analytics and operations. This is an exciting opportunity to work with large scale datasets, modern cloud technologies and secure environments where your work will have a genuine impact.

What you'll be doing:

• Design, build and maintain high performance data pipelines and ETL/ELT processes.
• Develop data models and structures that support reporting, analytics and operational decision making.
• Deliver data migration, transformation and integration activities across multiple systems.
• Ensure data quality, integrity and governance through validation and monitoring.
• Optimise data platforms for scalability, performance and reliability.
• Collaborate with technical and business stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver practical solutions.
• Support secure data integration across multiple platforms and environments.
• Produce clear documentation for data pipelines, architectures and data flows.

What we're looking for:

• Proven experience building and supporting enterprise data pipelines and ETL/ELT solutions.
• Experience working within PSPF, DISP and/or IRAP accredited environments.
• Strong data integration experience including mapping, transformation and orchestration.
• Experience working with structured and unstructured data.
• Knowledge of cloud data platforms such as Azure or AWS.
• A solid understanding of data modelling, governance and lifecycle management.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work closely with both technical and business stakeholders.
• Strong analytical and problem solving capabilities.
• Experience within Telecommunications or Government environments will be highly regarded.
• Current NV1 Security Clearance is essential.
