Manager, Finance Systems

The Role

Addepar is hiring a Manager to lead our Finance Systems team.  In this role, you will own the finance systems roadmap, partner directly with leadership on overall finance technology strategy and collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive a unified G&A experience.  You will oversee our core finance enterprise applications - including NetSuite, Coupa, Navan and our integration middleware Boomi - ensuring scalability, security and operational efficiency.

Applicants must have legal authorization to work in the country where this role is based on the first day of employment. Visa sponsorship is not available for this position.

What You’ll Do

• People & Team Leadership: Direct and mentor a global team of individual contributors across the US and Pune, establishing clear operational goals, defining team processes, and promoting career growth.
• Roadmap & Strategy Execution: Own the finance systems roadmap, partnering with leadership to align technology priorities with long-term business strategy.
• G&A System Unification: Partner with other enterprise systems teams in driving platform integrations, data consistency, and tech stack unification.
• Data Governance & MDM: Oversee core financial architecture and data pipelines, driving governance frameworks to guarantee seamless, dependable, and actionable reporting across business units.
• Ecosystem Administration: Oversee the performance, maintenance, and support strategy for core tools including NetSuite (GL, RevOps, O2C), Coupa (P2P), Navan (T&E), and integration middleware (e.g., Dell Boomi).

Release Management Lifecycle: Architect and govern NetSuite release management lifecycle by establishing Git/GitHub version control workflows and SuiteCloud Development Framework (SDF) across our different environments.

• Process & Support Governance: Define requirements gathering standards, maintain testing frameworks, and track support metrics to identify automation opportunities and enhance stakeholder enablement.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Engage deeply with Accounting, FP&A, Procurement, IT, and Legal to translate complex workflows into scalable systems solutions and integrated architectures.

Who You Are

• Experience: 7+ years of progressive experience in Finance Systems, with 2+ years of direct experience managing technical individual contributors in a global environment.
• Technical Stack Expertise: Deep administrative and functional mastery of NetSuite,  with hands-on experience across P2P platforms (e.g., Coupa), travel/expense solutions (e.g., Navan), financial planning solutions (e.g. Pigment) and enterprise middleware (e.g. Boomi).
• Strategic & Architecture Mindset: Proven track record of managing multi-year systems roadmaps, leading end-to-end enterprise implementations, and driving G&A systems unification.
• Cross-Functional Leadership: Strong ability to translate complex accounting and finance requirements into clear technical specifications while aligning priorities across business units.
• Adaptability & Delivery: Demonstrated ability to swiftly align with distinct business needs, address organizational challenges, and achieve key objectives for internal teams.
• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Management Information Systems, Finance, Accounting, IT, or an equivalent field.
