A client of Innova Solutions is immediately hiring a Splunk Platform Engineer / Splunk Administrator
Position type: Contract/FTE
Duration: 12+ Months
Location: Charlotte, NC, Pennington, NJ, Plano, TX and Jersey City, NJ - (Hybrid 3 days in office)
As a Splunk Platform Engineer / Splunk Administrator, you will:
Be a Splunk Platform Engineer to serve as the trusted owner of a large-scale Splunk environment. This individual will be responsible for ensuring the availability, scalability, reliability, and performance of Splunk infrastructure while partnering with Information Security, SOC, Architecture, Engineering, and Operations teams.
The ideal candidate will have deep technical expertise in Splunk Enterprise/Cloud, security log ingestion, SIEM operations, platform administration, and production support within mission-critical environments.
The ideal candidate will have:
5+ years of hands-on experience supporting large-scale Splunk Enterprise or Splunk Cloud environments.
Strong expertise in:

  • Search Head Clustering
  • Indexer Clustering
  • Universal Forwarders
  • Heavy Forwarders
  • SPL (Search Processing Language)
  • Search Optimization
  • Summary Indexing
  • Data Model Acceleration
  • Security Log Ingestion
  • SIEM Operations
Proven experience handling:
  • Production incidents
  • Root Cause Analysis (RCA)
  • Problem Management
  • Platform Stability Initiatives
Strong Linux administration experience.
Experience deploying and managing Splunk applications and configurations.
Experience working in 24x7 production support environments.

PAY RANGE AND BENEFITS:
Pay Range*: $70.00 - $71.00 per hour>
*Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.
