You will define the organisation-wide AI vision and build a focused product portfolio that moves AI beyond isolated experiments into repeatable, reliable, and measurable business outcomes.

The portfolio may span Generative AI, Predictive Machine Learning, Intelligent Automation, and AI-powered customer experiences across areas such as fraud detection, risk management, customer support, personalised payment experiences, and operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

  • Build and prioritise an AI product portfolio based on customer needs, business value, technical feasibility, risk, and speed of execution.
  • Own the complete product lifecycle, including problem discovery, use-case definition, experimentation, prioritisation, development, launch, adoption, and optimisation.
  • Partner with AI/ML engineers, data scientists, designers, platform teams, and business stakeholders to deliver reliable AI products at scale.
  • Evaluate and integrate external AI platforms and LLM solutions where they offer strategic and business advantages, ensuring security, privacy, cost, and performance considerations.
  • Establish modern AI product practices covering model evaluation, human-in-the-loop workflows, feedback mechanisms, observability, and continuous improvement.
  • Translate AI capabilities into measurable business outcomes, including revenue growth, monetisation, cost optimisation, productivity, risk reduction, and improved customer experience.
  • Establish governance frameworks for Responsible AI, regulatory compliance, data privacy, security, explainability, risk management, and auditability.
  • Build and strengthen AI Product Management capabilities through talent development, operating frameworks, decision-making processes, documentation, and best practices.
  • Lead, mentor, and develop high-performing teams while influencing senior stakeholders across the organisation.

Key Success Metrics

  • Establish a focused AI roadmap aligned with strategic business priorities and customer outcomes.
  • Successfully launch and scale AI products with measurable improvements in value, quality, safety, reliability, and user experience.
  • Drive tangible business impact through improved productivity, operational efficiency, customer engagement, revenue, cost optimisation, and risk management.
  • Implement robust AI evaluation and governance frameworks that enable responsible experimentation and deployment.
  • Develop a repeatable AI product operating model and build a capable team that can take AI initiatives from discovery to measurable impact.

Must-Have Skills and Qualifications

  • 12–18 years of overall experience, with 12–14 years specifically in Product Management.
  • At least 3 years of experience building or scaling AI-driven products.
  • Proven track record of launching B2C or B2B AI/ML-powered products at scale and driving sustained adoption beyond pilot stages.
  • Strong understanding of Generative AI and its product applications, including LLMs, transformers, embeddings, and modern AI application architectures.
  • Ability to translate technical AI capabilities into customer-focused solutions, commercial value, and actionable product strategies.
  • Experience leading high-performing product teams and collaborating across Engineering, Data Science, Design, Risk, Compliance, and Business functions.
  • Strong strategic thinking, analytical judgement, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to operate effectively in fast-paced, ambiguous, and highly regulated business environments.

Good-to-Have Skills

  • Exposure to AI platforms, LLM providers, model evaluation, LLMOps, MLOps, Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), and AI-agent applications.
  • Experience with Machine Learning, Intelligent Automation, and predictive analytics.
  • Domain knowledge in fraud detection, risk management, and personalised customer experiences.
  • Demonstrated ability to balance innovation with data privacy, information security, Responsible AI, and regulatory requirements.

  • Work on high-value AI use cases that improve customer trust, operational speed, experience, and efficiency.
  • Build the team, operating model, and product management practices for the next phase of AI-led growth.
