Investment Analyst - Macdonald & Company

A major international institutional investor with a substantial global real estate portfolio and an established presence across the UK and Europe is seeking a Real Estate Investment Analyst to join its London-based investment team.

Key Responsibilities

• Source, evaluate and underwrite real estate investment opportunities across the UK and Europe.
• Build and maintain detailed financial models to assess investment returns, risk and performance.
• Prepare investment committee papers and present investment analysis to support decision-making.
• Support transaction execution across acquisitions, joint ventures and portfolio investments.
• Work closely with internal teams and external advisers throughout the investment process.
• Contribute to the asset management and ongoing performance of existing investments.

Candidate Profile

• 1–2 years’ experience in real estate investment, real estate private equity or real estate investment banking.
• Strong financial modelling, valuation and analytical capabilities.
• Understanding of equity investments, joint ventures and real estate investment structures.
• Excellent commercial judgement and attention to detail.
• Proactive, intellectually curious and able to communicate complex investment analysis clearly.
