The Role

• Support the implementation and creation of BIM substation design processes and libraries.
• Develop, maintain, and communicate BIM design symbols, assemblies, and templates.
• Coordinate with manufacturers to obtain design content and update internal design standards.
• Perform quality assurance and develop 3D and 2D CAD designs for substation projects.
• Review substation designs and as-builts, comparing 3D laser scans with BIM models.
• Coordinate and develop design documents, drawings, and bills of materials.

What You'll Need

• Technical ability to understand electric circuit theory, device selection, and placement.
• Experience with electric utility industry standards and technical requirements.
• Proven ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines effectively.
• Demonstrated experience in a team environment, contributing to or leading projects.
• Minimum 3+ years of 2D CAD experience and 1-5+ years of BIM design software experience (level dependent).
• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent required.
