Salary: £60,000 - £65,000
Location: Fully Remote (UK) - Occasional quarterly visits to Cheltenham
Contract: Permanent, Full-Time

The Opportunity

I have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Senior Full Stack Developer to join a growing UK-based software company specialising in the development of secure, bespoke applications and SaaS solutions.

The business develops complex, business-critical software platforms used across highly regulated environments, with an expanding portfolio of projects both in the UK and internationally.

You'll be joining a close-knit, experienced engineering team where you'll have the opportunity to take ownership of development activities, contribute to technical decisions and work across the full software development life cycle.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain full stack web applications using .NET, C#, React and TypeScript.

• Build and support scalable Back End services, APIs and database solutions.

• Develop responsive, user-friendly Front End applications using modern JavaScript frameworks.

• Contribute to the development and improvement of CI/CD pipelines and deployment processes.

• Work collaboratively with other developers to analyse requirements, design solutions and deliver new functionality.

• Support existing applications, troubleshoot technical issues and implement improvements.

• Participate in technical discussions, code reviews and continuous improvement activities.

• Help maintain high standards of software quality, security and performance.

Technical Skills & Experience

Essential:

• Strong commercial experience developing applications using C# and .NET/.NET Core.

• Experience building modern Front End applications using React and TypeScript.

• Good knowledge of Microsoft SQL Server and relational databases.

• Experience working with REST APIs and web services.

• Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and modern software development practices.

• Experience working across the full software development life cycle.

• Comfortable working independently and collaboratively within a small engineering team.

Desirable:

• Experience with Microsoft Azure and cloud-hosted applications.

• Knowledge of HTML, CSS and JavaScript.

• Experience developing secure applications within regulated environments.

• Exposure to mobile application development, particularly Xamarin.

• Familiarity with ISO 27001 or security-focused development practices.

About You

We're looking for a well-rounded Full Stack Developer who enjoys being hands-on and taking ownership of their work.

You'll ideally have experience working within smaller development teams, where collaboration, adaptability and problem-solving are essential.

You'll be confident contributing across both Front End and Back End development, comfortable discussing technical solutions and motivated by building reliable, high-quality software.

Security Clearance Requirements

Due to the nature of the projects, applicants must be eligible to obtain UK Security Check (SC) clearance. For this particular opportunity, candidates must hold British citizenship and have at least five years of UK address history.
