Air Conditioning Engineer

Air Conditioning Engineer Henfield Permanent £35,000–£50,000 Workshop Recruitment is supporting a growing engineering business with an opportunity for an experienced Air Conditioning Engineer. The role is predominantly commercial, with around 80% of the work carried out across commercial properties.

This Air Conditioning Engineer position has arisen through business expansion and will focus mainly on service and maintenance, with installation and breakdown work also required.

Key Responsibilities Service and maintain commercial air conditioning and HVAC systems.<br />Diagnose faults and complete efficient repairs.<br />Install split, multi-split, VRV/VRF and packaged systems.<br />Complete job reports and service documentation accurately.<br />Ensure work complies with F-Gas and health and safety requirements.<br />Provide technical advice and professional customer service.<br />Manage van stock, tools and equipment effectively.<br />Communicate clearly with customers and office staff.<br />Skills &amp; Knowledge Required Minimum 3 years' air conditioning installation and servicing experience.<br />NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Refrigeration and Air Conditioning, or equivalent.<br />F-Gas Category 1 certification.<br />Strong knowledge of split, multi-split, VRV/VRF and packaged systems.<br />Confident fault-finding and repair skills.<br />Full UK driving licence, ideally with a clean driving record.<br />CSCS card preferred.<br />Professional, reliable and customer-focused approach.<br />Benefits Competitive salary depending on experience.<br />Company van and fuel card.<br />Mobile phone/tablet for job management.<br />Tools and uniform provided.<br />20 days holiday + bank holidays (rising with service).<br />Pension scheme.<br />Ongoing training and development opportunities
