12+ years of PLM experience with 8+ years in Siemens Teamcenter implementations, rollouts, transformations, or support engagements.

Role Overview

We are seeking experienced Siemens Teamcenter Functional Experts with deep expertise in one or more of the following domains:

• Item & BOM Management
• Product Compliance Management
• Supplier & Vendor Collaboration Management
• Engineering Change Management (ECM/ECR/ECO)

The ideal candidate will serve as a trusted advisor to engineering, manufacturing, supply chain, and product development organizations, helping clients design and implement enterprise PLM solutions using Siemens Teamcenter.

The role requires a blend of strong functional domain knowledge, PLM process expertise, and Teamcenter configuration capabilities.

Key Responsibilities

Item & BOM Management

• Design and implement Item Master and Product Structure management processes.
• Define and manage EBOM, MBOM, and configurable product structures.
• Enable product lifecycle governance across parts, assemblies, and documents.
• Lead BOM synchronization and integration with ERP systems such as SAP.
• Develop product data governance standards and classification strategies.
• Drive digital thread initiatives connecting engineering, manufacturing, and supply chain processes.

Compliance Management

• Configure and support compliance-related capabilities within Teamcenter.
• Define processes for:
• RoHS
• REACH
• Conflict Minerals
• Environmental and Regulatory Compliance
• Support material declarations and compliance reporting.
• Collaborate with Quality, Regulatory Affairs, and Engineering teams.
• Establish governance and auditability of compliance data.

Vendor/Supplier Management

• Enable supplier collaboration and controlled data exchange.
• Define supplier onboarding and qualification workflows.
• Manage supplier part submissions and approvals.
• Support supplier document and specification management.
• Collaborate with procurement and sourcing teams.
• Drive secure data-sharing processes across external partner ecosystems.

Engineering Change Management

• Design and optimize Engineering Change Request (ECR), Engineering Change Order (ECO), and Engineering Change Notice (ECN) processes.
• Configure approval workflows and change governance.
• Establish impact analysis processes across products, manufacturing, suppliers, and quality functions.
• Improve change cycle time and traceability.
• Support enterprise transformation initiatives for product development and release management.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, Computer Science, Manufacturing, or related discipline.
• 8+ years of PLM experience.
• 5+ years of Siemens Teamcenter experience.
• Experience with Teamcenter Active Workspace.
• Strong understanding of Product Lifecycle Management concepts.
• Hands-on experience in requirements gathering, solution design, testing, deployment, and user adoption.
• Experience leading workshops with business and IT stakeholders.
