Erzieher oder Heilerziehungspfleger (m/w/d) | Prien am Chiemsee, Germany | On-site We're hiring for a leading German psychosomatic and psychiatric hospital known for its international recognition and academic affiliations. The Role • Organize and structure the daily hospital routine for pediatric and adolescent patients. • Co-therapeutically engage with patients, building upon their individual and group therapy sessions. • Provide first-line crisis intervention and support in acute situations. • Lead therapy groups focused on areas like relaxation techniques, mindfulness, social skills, and coping strategies. • Offer therapeutic support during mealtimes for patients with eating disorders, promoting a healthy relationship with food. • Participate in shift work to ensure continuous patient care and support. What You'll Need • Completed vocational training as an Erzieher (Educator) or Heilerziehungspfleger (Therapeutic Educator). • Experience in psychosomatics/psychiatry or residential care for individuals with special needs is beneficial but not required. • Strong communication, teamwork, and a genuine passion for working with young people. • A respectful, professional, and empathetic approach to patients and their families. • A curious mindset with a desire for continuous professional development.
