Job description

About the Role

We are looking for an experienced SAP ABAP Consultant to join our team in Melbourne. In this role, you will work closely with business stakeholders and technical teams to design, develop, and troubleshoot complex technical solutions, leveraging modern SAP technologies to drive efficiency and performance.

What You'll Do

Design, develop, and deliver robust RICEF objects along with deep CDS view implementations.
Utilize development tools such as Eclipse ADT for efficient and modern ABAP development.
Handle complex debugging and troubleshoot technical issues across various modules and integrations.
Build and maintain ODATA services while interacting directly with business stakeholders to understand and translate functional requirements.
Collaborate seamlessly within a team-oriented, problem-solving environment.

Must-Haves

Experience: Minimum 5 years of hands on experience in SAP ABAP alongside ABAP on HANA.
Core Technical Skills: Strong proficiency in SAP ABAP, ABAP on HANA, Fiori, and UI5.
Development Competencies: Proven expertise in building RICEF objects, creating CDS views, and utilizing Eclipse ADT.
Problem Solving & Communication: Strong debugging skills coupled with excellent communication abilities to work independently with business teams.

Technical Depth

Advanced proficiency in complex system debugging and root cause analysis.
Solid experience in ODATA service development and troubleshooting.

Nice-to-Haves

Exposure to ODATA integration and technical interfaces (Idocs, Proxies, Web Services, and Workflows).
Familiarity with BAPIs, BADIs, and advanced HANA concepts.
