Job description

Description
We are looking for an experienced Enovia PLM Specialist to support a manufacturing organization. This contract position will play a key role in advancing the company's PLM environment by strengthening system performance, reliability, and scalability. The ideal candidate will bring deep expertise in Enovia platforms and will help drive technical improvements across application architecture, data management, and platform optimization.

Responsibilities

Lead the upgrade of the current Enovia platform to the latest supported release while minimizing disruption to business operations. Evaluate existing configurations and custom developments, then recommend and implement improvements by retiring outdated modifications where appropriate. Support platform migration activities involving operating system and database changes, including movement from Linux to Windows and from Oracle to Microsoft SQL Server.

Administer and improve the Enovia repository to ensure project data remains organized, accessible, and aligned with business needs. Monitor platform stability throughout upgrade and migration efforts, resolving issues related to performance, compatibility, and overall system functionality. Collaborate with technical stakeholders to assess system architecture, integration points, and data movement requirements tied to the PLM environment. Document technical changes, deployment considerations, and support procedures to promote long-term maintainability of the solution.

Requirements
At least 5 years of hands-on experience working with Enovia in enterprise environments. Proven background delivering Enovia upgrades and implementation work from planning through execution. Strong knowledge of Enovia architecture, integrations, and data migration processes. Experience supporting enterprise PLM infrastructure across both application and database environments. Working knowledge of Windows OS, Linux, Oracle, and Microsoft SQL Server. Ability to identify legacy customizations and make sound recommendations for simplification or modernization.
