Responsibilities:

  • Inspect parts, materials, assemblies and equipment at multiple stages of production to confirm compliance with specifications and quality standards
  • Perform real-time defect evaluation, identifying root causes and recommending effective corrective actions
  • Verify that corrective actions and rework are properly implemented to prevent recurring issues
  • Maintain accurate labeling and traceability of parts and materials throughout the production process
  • Prepare and maintain QA documentation, inspection reports and audit ready records

Requirements:

  • Must be willing to obtain a DoD Secret Clearance (active Secret is preferred)
  • High School diploma plus a minimum of 4 years of directly related experience is required. Associates degree in Electronics, Computer Science, and Mechanical engineering is preferred
  • J-STD_001, 002, IPC 610, MIL-STD-883, MIL-STD-750 and X-Ray qualification certifications may be required
  • Solid knowledge of ESD control, workmanship standards, geometric dimensioning and tolerancing, and statistics and process control techniques
  • Ability to read and understand engineering drawings, schematics, and blueprints to verify that parts and assemblies meet design specifications
  • Understanding fundamental concepts and principles of electrical or mechanical systems and components, which are necessary for performing inspections and tests
  • Must have strong communication skills to interface with coworkers, internal customers and potentially suppliers
