  Job Description

  We are looking for a Senior Software Engineer with strong experience in Java, Apache Flink, Apache Kafka, and Spring Boot to develop and support real-time streaming applications and cloud-native microservices. The ideal candidate will have experience building scalable event-driven systems, deploying applications on AWS, and working in production environments.

  Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain Java-based Apache Flink streaming applications.
  • Build event-driven data pipelines using Kafka/MSK.
  • Develop Spring Boot microservices, REST APIs, and GraphQL APIs.
  • Implement scalable, fault-tolerant streaming solutions using Flink state management, checkpointing, and recovery.
  • Deploy applications using Docker, Kubernetes, AWS MSF/MSK, and CI/CD pipelines.
  • Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize production applications.
  • Participate in architecture discussions, code reviews, and performance tuning.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality solutions.

  Must Have Skills

  • 7+ years of Java development experience (Java 8/11+)
  • 3+ years of hands-on experience with Apache Flink
  • Strong experience with Apache Kafka / AWS MSK
  • Experience building Spring Boot Microservices
  • REST API development
  • GraphQL experience
  • AWS Cloud experience
  • Docker & Kubernetes
  • CI/CD pipelines
  • Schema Registry, Avro, Protobuf, or JSON serialization
  • Event-Driven Architecture
  • Flink DataStream API
  • State Management & Checkpointing
  • Kafka Topics, Partitions & Consumer Groups
  • Observability (Logs, Metrics, Tracing, Monitoring)
  • Production support and performance tuning
  • Git and Agile/Scrum experience
