Science Teacher – Lambeth Secondary School
Are you a dedicated and passionate Science Teacher seeking a rewarding opportunity in a thriving Lambeth secondary school?
A highly reputable secondary school in Lambeth is seeking a talented and enthusiastic Science Teacher to join their dynamic Science department on a full-time, permanent basis. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Science Teacher or a Newly Qualified Teacher (NQT) to contribute to a supportive and high-achieving learning environment.
Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver engaging and effective Science lessons across Key Stages 3, 4, and 5.
- Develop and implement differentiated lesson plans in line with the national curriculum and school policies.
- Assess student progress, provide constructive feedback, and set challenging targets.
- Collaborate with colleagues within the Science department and across the school to share best practice and enhance teaching strategies.
- Maintain a safe and stimulating learning environment for all students.
- Participate in continuous professional development (CPD) activities to stay abreast of current developments in Science education.
Qualifications and Experience:
- A Bachelor's degree in Science or a related field.
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or a Postgraduate Certificate in Education (PGCE).
- A strong understanding of the Science curriculum at Key Stages 3, 4, and 5.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build positive relationships with students, colleagues, and parents.
- A commitment to fostering a love of Science in young people.
