The Role

As Nurse Manager, you will have overall responsibility for establishing and managing a professional nursing agency supplying temporary and permanent nursing staff to healthcare providers throughout Scotland.

You'll lead all aspects of the service, including:

  • Developing and growing the agency
  • Recruiting, mentoring and supporting nursing staff
  • Building relationships with NHS Boards, Local Authorities and independent care providers
  • Ensuring safe staffing and high-quality service delivery
  • Maintaining clinical governance and regulatory compliance
  • Managing rotas, workforce planning and agency operations
  • Driving business development and identifying new opportunities
  • Delivering an outstanding experience for both clients and agency staff

We're Looking For Someone Who

โœ” Is a Registered Nurse with current NMC registration

โœ” Has management experience within nursing, healthcare staffing or community services

โœ” Understands NHS and healthcare workforce requirements

โœ” Has experience working with agency staffing, workforce planning or complex clinical services

โœ” Is commercially aware and enjoys developing new business opportunities

โœ” Has excellent leadership and communication skills

โœ” Wants to build a successful service rather than simply maintain one
