Job Description

Senior Specialist, Trading Operations – (Naphtha/LPG)

We are seeking to hire a Senior Specialist, Trading Operations with experience across Naphtha or LPG. This profile will be responsible for providing end-to-end commercial, logistical and operational support for the Naphtha/LPG trading portfolio.

Responsibilities:

  1. Manage the end-to-end execution of physical Naphtha and LPG transactions, ensuring contractual compliance and operational excellence.
  2. Coordinate cargo movements, vessel operations, storage, inventory and blending activities to support trading strategies.
  3. Protect and optimize trading P&L through effective logistics, asset utilization and cost management.
  4. Manage product quality, specifications and operational risks throughout the supply chain.
  5. Act as the key liaison between traders, counterparties, shipping providers, terminals and service vendors.
  6. Support settlements, claims, demurrage, inventory reconciliation and operational reporting.
  7. Ensure accurate system updates and compliance with internal controls, regulatory requirements and company policies.

Experience:

  1. Minimum 6+ years of experience within commodities trading, energy trading or oil & gas trading environments.
  2. Minimum 3+ years of direct Trading Operations experience supporting Naphtha, LPG, Light Ends or Refined Products trading activities.
  3. Proven experience managing complex physical cargo movements, storage operations and international supply chains.
  4. Experience supporting traders and managing operational exposure within a global trading environment.
  5. Exposure to Middle East, Asia and international Light Ends markets is preferred.
