Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Data Scientist for Walmart's Catalog Team to develop Machine Learning and NLP solutions focused on product classification, attribute extraction, deduplication, and catalog data quality.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and deploy ML models using Python and SQL.

• Build NLP solutions for product classification and attribute extraction.

• Work on product matching, deduplication, and catalog enrichment.

• Analyze large datasets using Spark/PySpark.

• Apply LLMs, GenAI, and embeddings to improve catalog intelligence.

• Collaborate with engineering and product teams.

Required Skills

• Strong experience in Python, SQL, and Machine Learning.

• Hands-on expertise in NLP, text classification, and embeddings.

• Experience with Spark/PySpark and large-scale data processing.

• Knowledge of Scikit-learn, PyTorch, or TensorFlow.

• Experience deploying ML models into production.

Preferred: E-commerce/retail catalog experience, LLMs/GenAI, and cloud platforms (Google Cloud Platform/AWS/Azure).
