Application/Systems Administrator with Security Clearance

Description Spalding, a Saalex Company is seeking a Application/Systems Administrator in Patuxent River, MD. Spalding, a Saalex Company is a professional services company delivering cutting-edge solutions to the Department of War. Our expert-level solutions include software development, information technology, program management, financial management and business intelligence services. Position Type: Full-time Salary: $125k-$155k annually (depending upon experience) Work Location: Hybrid. Requires on-site support at Patuxent River, MD approximately 3 days per week. May require occasional evening/weekend hours for patching/upgrades. Essential Functions: * Performs the installation, integration, configuration, testing, troubleshooting, security implementation, and configuration of software applications with specific focus on Windows systems, including:
* Microsoft Office products * Java JRE * Visual Studio
* Raytheon EAGLE * Troubleshoot and resolve software issues.
* Provides support through a ticketing system to application owners, developers, and internal/external teams. * Other duties as assigned or required. Requirements Required: * Experience troubleshooting software issues required.
* Knowledge of DISA STIGS and how to implement required.
* CompTIA Security+ certification required (must show proof of cert prior to interview) Desired: * Application installation/configuration/administration experience on Windows-based systems required, experience with large-scale/complex app configuration a plus. Education/Experience: BS/BA or AS/AA degree and 7 years related experience OR HS and 9 years related experience. Security Clearance: Active/Interim TS/SSBI clearance desired or active Secret clearance with the ability to obtain TS/SSBI.
