Job Description

Mandatory Requirements

  • Experience supporting the assessment, design, development, implementation, and optimization of clinical information systems.
  • Experience leading or supporting biomedical systems testing and system integrations.
  • Experience configuring biomedical systems middleware to interface with Epic or comparable clinical applications.
  • Experience gathering, documenting, and managing business, clinical, functional, and technical requirements.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Experience supporting application troubleshooting, defect resolution, testing, deployments, and end-user support.
  • Ability to develop technical documentation, test plans, training materials, and system documentation.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional clinical, operational, and technical teams.
  • Master''s degree or advanced clinical degree and one (1) year of relevant experience gathering and documenting business and clinical requirements; or
  • Bachelor''s degree and three (3) years of relevant experience; or
  • An equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
  • One (1) to three (3) years of experience supporting Epic EMR and/or other clinical or business applications.
  • Ability to obtain Epic Certification within the first six (6) months of employment as a condition of continued employment.
  • Ability to work approximately 80% remotely and up to 20% onsite.
  • Ability to report onsite within 48 hours when required.

Desired Qualifications

  • Clinical background.
  • Current Epic Certification.
  • Experience supporting Epic implementations or healthcare application deployments.
  • Specialty certifications from nationally recognized professional, technical, academic, or healthcare organizations.
  • Experience mentoring junior analysts or supporting team training initiatives.
