Cloud Infrastructure Engineer West Midlands | Hybrid Working (1 day on-site per week)<br />Full Time – 37.5 hours<br />Salary: Up to £60,000 We’re recruiting a Cloud Infrastructure Engineer to join an established organisation as it continues to develop and modernise its Microsoft Azure environment.

This is a hands-on engineering role with genuine scope to influence how cloud infrastructure is designed and delivered. You’ll work across Azure, Infrastructure-as-Code, CI/CD, automation, security and hybrid identity, helping move the environment towards increasingly cloud-native ways of working.

The role You’ll act as a technical specialist for Azure infrastructure, designing and delivering secure, scalable and resilient cloud services. Your responsibilities will include:

Designing, deploying and managing Azure IaaS and PaaS services<br />Building and maintaining Infrastructure-as-Code using Terraform, Bicep or similar<br />Developing CI/CD pipelines for infrastructure and application delivery<br />Improving automation and repeatability across deployments<br />Implementing cloud governance, security controls and cost optimisation<br />Managing Azure identity, SSO and hybrid identity services<br />Monitoring environments using Azure Monitor and Log Analytics<br />Supporting security and compliance requirements<br />Designing and testing backup and disaster recovery solutions<br />Troubleshooting complex infrastructure issues and leading root-cause analysis<br />What we're looking for You'll ideally bring: 5+ years' experience within Cloud, Infrastructure or Systems Engineering<br />Strong hands-on Microsoft Azure experience across IaaS and PaaS<br />Commercial experience with Terraform, Bicep or another IaC technology<br />Experience creating and maintaining CI/CD pipelines<br />Strong networking, server, storage and virtualisation knowledge<br />Experience across cloud security, compliance and monitoring<br />Automation/scripting experience with PowerShell, Python or similar<br />Experience with containers, Azure Application Gateway/WAF/Load Balancers or Azure data services would be advantageous.

Azure and/or Terraform certifications/experience would also be beneficial. Why consider it? This isn't simply an Azure support role.
