Job Description

Role: AWS MLOps

Level: Mid-career (hands-on builder, not overly senior/architect)

Duration: 6+ months (likely extension)

Location: Houston, TX - hybrid

Core Profile

Software Engineer with strong hands-on development experience in AWS

Comfortable operating in a fast-moving, experimental environment

Able to both build and iterate on new technologies quickly

Must-Have Skills

Strong AWS development experience (building and deploying applications)

Hands-on experience with MLOps (model lifecycle, deployment, monitoring)

Experience with Terraform (Infrastructure as Code)

Proven ability to learn and adopt new technologies quickly

Experience building agent-based / agentic systems

Hands-on experience writing and deploying agent code

Experience with agent core / agent frameworks

Exposure to or experience with MCP (Model Context Protocol or similar concepts)

Nice-to-Have

Experience with Databricks (data platform exposure)

Background in oil & gas / energy

Key Traits
