Job Description:

Responsibilities:

• Design complex mechanical systems and assemblies for capital equipment products.
• Develop 3D models, detailed drawings, and engineering documentation.
• Perform tolerance analysis, component selection, and design reviews.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including electrical, manufacturing, systems, and program management.
• Support prototype builds, testing, design verification, and product improvements.
• Drive designs from concept through production release while balancing performance, reliability, manufacturability, and cost.
• Resolve technical design challenges throughout the product lifecycle.

Required Qualifications:

• 8+ years of mechanical design engineering experience.
• Strong background designing capital equipment, industrial machinery, or complex electromechanical systems.
• Proficiency with 3D CAD tools (SolidWorks or similar).
• Experience designing precision mechanical assemblies and sheet metal, machined, and fabricated components.
• Strong understanding of GD&T, tolerance stack-up analysis, and DFM/DFA principles.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work within cross-functional engineering teams.
