The Opportunity

At i360technologies, we deliver business consulting and technology solutions that support the mission of federal agencies. We are seeking a Senior Software Maintenance Specialist to sustain the software that supports the client's Oracle Federal Financials environment, operated as a shared service serving multiple agencies.

This role modifies, maintains, and troubleshoots existing software and automations, keeps the supporting applications healthy, and provides senior technical support to users. This role is on-site at the client's Financial Service Center (FSC) in Chesapeake, VA. Telework is limited and requires client approval, so this is an in-office role. Work is performed within the FSC's normal help desk operating hours (6:00 am–9:00 pm ET, Monday–Friday) on a typical 40-hour week; occasional work outside normal hours (for example, maintenance weekends and month-end or year-end closing) may be required.

What You Will Do

  • Maintain, modify, and troubleshoot existing software, interfaces, and automations that support the Oracle Federal Financials environment.
  • Diagnose and resolve software defects and performance issues, and enhance software to improve reliability and performance.
  • Provide senior technical support to users and to the help desk on escalated software issues.
  • Support release activities, including configuration changes, upgrades, and patches, and validate that software changes work as intended.
  • Develop and test scripts and code changes in line with the client's policies and configuration management standards.
  • Document software changes, maintain operating procedures, and contribute to technical documentation.
  • Coordinate with the architect, functional, help desk, and program leads to align software maintenance with the release schedule and operational needs.
  • As needed, support security standards work: extending the Authorization to Operate (ATO) through two-factor authentication (2FA), upgrading systems with end-of-life software constraints, moving a system to a cloud virtual server, and implementing development/test and disaster recovery environments.
  • Coordinate with the ATO / Security Support Specialist on ongoing ATO maintenance activities that affect supported software.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
  • Minimum 8 years of related experience.
  • Demonstrated experience maintaining, modifying, and troubleshooting enterprise software and providing technical user support.
  • Hands-on development and scripting skills (for example, SQL/PL/SQL and related technologies).
  • Ability to work on-site in Chesapeake, VA.
  • Use AI tools to improve efficiency in research, drafting, and analysis, while validating all outputs for accuracy, completeness, and compliance.

Preferred Experience

  • Software maintenance experience with Oracle E-Business Suite or Oracle Federal Financials, including interfaces and automations.
  • Familiarity with federal financial management environments and shared service operations.
  • Experience with Oracle EBS 12.2 upgrades, quarterly security patches, configuration management, and ServiceNow-managed change control.
  • Experience with two-factor authentication, server virtualization or cloud migration, and development/test or disaster recovery environment builds.

What Success Looks Like

  • Suggested: Software defects and performance issues are diagnosed and resolved, with fixes validated before release.
  • Suggested: Software changes are documented and follow the client's configuration management standards.
  • Suggested: Escalated software issues from users and the help desk are resolved promptly.

Security & Eligibility Requirements

  • U.S. citizenship is required.
  • Selected candidate must successfully clear a U.S. government suitability background check.
  • Must sign a non-disclosure agreement before gaining site and system access.

Benefits

  • Referral Bonus
  • (401k) Matching
  • Holidays – Eleven
  • Technology Reimbursement
  • Short-Term & Long-Term Disability
  • Life Insurance (Basic, Voluntary & AD&D)
  • Paid Time Off (0-3 years - 15 Days PTO | 3+ years 20 Days)
