Job Description

About Pearl

Pearl is shaping the future of dentistry with a suite of AI solutions developed to establish higher standards of quality and care for patients worldwide. Since 2019, our team has engineered FDA-cleared computer vision capabilities for interpretation of 2D and 3D dental imagery; industry-leading capabilities which clinicians, practice owners, labs, and insurers use to elevate the efficiency, accuracy, and consistency of dental care around the world.

The Role

We are seeking an IT Operations Administrator to own the day-to-day health of Pearl's IT environment. You will be the first point of contact for employee IT requests, keep our systems and devices secure and well maintained, and make sure people get the right access on day one and lose it on their last. You will work closely with the Security Operations & Compliance Analyst so our controls are operating and documented for SOC 2, HIPAA, and GDPR.

Key Responsibilities

Support & Service Delivery

  • Serve as first point of escalation for internal IT requests and tickets, triaging and resolving issues within agreed turnaround times.

  • Track ticket volume and turnaround, and recommend process improvements.

  • Maintain IT knowledge base articles and employee how-to guides.

Identity, Access & Onboarding/Offboarding

  • Run new-hire onboarding and offboarding, including provisioning and deprovisioning of accounts, hardware, and system access.

  • Administer identity and access management, SSO, role-based permissions, and least-privilege access across SaaS tools (e.g., Google Workspace, Slack, Notion, Qualio, Vanta).

  • Perform periodic user access reviews and remediate findings.

Endpoints, Systems & Assets

  • Manage the device fleet, including MDM enrollment, patching, encryption, and compliance monitoring.

  • Administer and monitor SaaS platform and cloud configurations for security and availability.

  • Maintain the IT asset inventory and software licenses, and manage renewals.

Compliance Support

  • Collect and maintain IT control evidence for audits in partnership with the Security Operations & Compliance Analyst.

  • Follow and help improve IT-related SOPs and policies.

  • Support IT aspects of vendor and new-tool onboarding.

Qualifications

  • 2+ years of experience in IT administration, helpdesk, or systems management.

  • Hands-on experience with endpoint management, MDM, and identity/access management platforms.

  • Experience administering Google Workspace and other SaaS tools.

  • Experience supporting onboarding and offboarding and working in a ticketing workflow.

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with a service-minded approach.

  • Ability to work independently and prioritize in a fast-paced, small-team environment.

  • Willingness to work from our Lehi, Utah office 3 days per week.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in a SaaS company; a regulated or medical device environment is a plus.

  • Exposure to SOC 2, HIPAA, or similar security frameworks and compliance tools such as Vanta.

  • Experience with password management and security awareness tooling.

  • Relevant certifications (e.g., CompTIA A+/Security+, Google Workspace Administrator) are a plus.

What We Offer

  • Competitive Benefit and Compensation Offerings

  • Ongoing Training and Development Opportunities

  • Unaccrued, Flexible PTO

  • Hybrid: 3-days in office
