Role: Claims Analyst
Location: Baltimore, MD 21224 (100% Onsite)
Job Type: Contract-To-Hire
Job Summary:
The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience with healthcare claims, data research, validation, and Excel, with strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Medical Coding or claims experience is highly preferred, along with familiarity with Adobe, FixIt, MS Word, and Luminix.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Research and resolve operational/system issues.
  • Analyze data, identify root causes, and support process improvements.
  • Validate claims/data and maintain operational documentation.
  • Develop and execute testing methods and document results.
  • Provide process/system support and assist with user training.

Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • 2+ years of relevant operational/analytical experience.
  • 12 years of data entry experience.
  • Strong claims support, research, data validation, and Excel skills.
  • Microsoft Excel is a MUST HAVE.
  • Medical Coding or healthcare claims experience is a strong plus.
  • Experience with Adobe, FixIt, MS Word, and Luminix is preferred.
  • Bachelors degree preferred; 4 additional years of relevant experience may substitute for the degree.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Must be detail-oriented and able to work independently.
