Job title: Engineer Manager (Design) We are hiring for our client, a leading global manufacturer within the materials processing sector, for an experienced Engineering Manager to join their expanding team across the Campsie or Omagh site. Top 3 Things to Know About This Job Strong package - £60,000-£65,000 base salary + up to 20% bonus Leadership impact - full ownership of Engineering function across TCS & Prostack Product & innovation focus - NPD, design improvement and global manufacturing exposure The Role The Engineering Manager will be responsible for leading and developing the Engineering team, ensuring delivery of all design, development and improvement activities across multiple concurrent projects. Key responsibilities include: Leading the Engineering Department including workload planning, resource allocation and performance management Managing New Product Development projects from concept through to completion in collaboration with cross-functional teams Driving continuous improvement, cost reduction and product redesign initiatives Developing and maintaining engineering standards, processes and metrics Ensuring quality, safety and reliability standards are embedded across all design activity Supporting manufacturing and sales teams with technical engineering expertise Overseeing CAD systems and engineering documentation standards Managing, mentoring and developing engineering team members, including performance and recruitment decisions Maintaining project records, design standards and technical documentation Ensuring compliance with company policies and relevant regulations The Person Degree qualified in Engineering or equivalent Minimum 5 years' experience in design engineering Proven experience leading and developing engineering teams Strong 3D CAD experience (Creo preferred) Background in machinery, aggregates or mineral washing equipment desirable Experience working with internal and external stakeholders at all levels Strong organisational, planning and problem-solving skills Confident communicator with the ability to influence and drive change Commercial awareness with experience managing budgets The Reward £60,000 - £65,000 base salary Up to 20% annual bonus Opportunity to lead a key engineering function within a growing global business Involvement in cutting-edge product development and innovation Periodic international travel Strong career development and leadership opportunity Next Steps - Why Hunter Savage For further information, and to apply for this Engineering Manager job, please contact Dominic Heron at Hunter Savage: Or message directly on LinkedIn.
