SEN / SEND Tutor | Wolverhampton, West Midlands | Hybrid | £28 - £35 per hour

We're hiring for a leading national organisation dedicated to transforming the lives of young people with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) and Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) needs. We partner with schools and local authorities to deliver impactful educational support, fostering a community committed to positive change.

The Role

• Provide in-person, online, or hybrid tuition in Maths, English, or Science to children and young people with SEND and SEMH needs.
• Support pupils from KS1 to KS5 by planning and delivering flexible, trauma-informed tutoring and mentoring.
• Plan and report for lessons, offering regular feedback on student progress.
• Work with disengaged, at-risk, and vulnerable learners, making a tangible difference in their lives.
• Be part of a mission to raise the standard of education for young people with diverse learning difficulties.

What You'll Need

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS / QTLS).
• Minimum of 2 years of teaching experience, ideally with SEND, SEMH, MLD, SLD, or PMLD.
• Familiarity with teaching English, Maths, and/or Science.
• Knowledge of safeguarding principles and creating a safe learning environment.
• An enhanced DBS check (assistance provided if needed) and professional references.
• UK residency with the right to work in the United Kingdom.
