Key Requirement

Looking for Kong API Gateway Administrators with strong hands-on experience deploying, configuring, and supporting API Gateways on Kubernetes clusters.

Candidates should have strong fundamentals in Kubernetes, Unix/Linux operating systems, clusters, and API Gateway administration. Experience with Kong is highly preferred, while exposure to WSO2, Python, or Shell scripting is beneficial.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deploy and administer Kong API Gateway on Kubernetes clusters.
  • Configure and maintain API Gateway services, routes, plugins, and policies.
  • Support Kubernetes-based API Gateway environments.
  • Troubleshoot Kong, Kubernetes, cluster, and Unix/Linux-related issues.
  • Monitor API Gateway availability, performance, and reliability.
  • Support API security, authentication, routing, and traffic-management configurations.
  • Perform production support, incident troubleshooting, and root-cause analysis.
  • Automate administrative and operational activities using Python or Shell scripting where applicable.
  • Collaborate with application, DevOps, infrastructure, and API development teams.
  • Maintain technical and operational documentation.
