About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Informatica Master Data Management Architect / Engineer to play a key role in our enterprise Data Governance program. This individual will provide technical leadership, architecture, design, and hands-on development for Informatica Cloud Master Data Management (MDM) solutions, helping drive data quality, governance, and trusted master data across the organization.

This role requires a strong combination of MDM architecture expertise, hands-on Informatica IDMC experience, and the ability to collaborate with Data Engineering, Governance, and business stakeholders to deliver scalable enterprise solutions.
What You'll Do
Informatica Cloud MDM Administration, Engineering & Development (40%)

• Design, configure, and support Informatica Cloud MDM (IDMC) solutions.
• Develop and maintain MDM data models across business domains.
• Configure and optimize:
  • Match & Merge
  • Survivorship Rules
  • Hierarchy Management
  • Reference Data Management
  • Workflows and Business Rules
• Support master data onboarding, migration, reconciliation, and stewardship processes.

Enterprise Data Integration & Architecture (40%)

• Partner with Data Engineering, Architecture, and Platform teams to integrate MDM solutions across enterprise applications.
• Design and support integrations using REST APIs, JSON, XML, and batch processes.
• Collaborate with teams leveraging Informatica Cloud Data Governance Catalog (CDGC) and Cloud Data Quality (CDQ).
• Support integration with modern data platforms including Snowflake, Databricks, Fabric, and related technologies.
• Contribute to architecture decisions that ensure scalability, governance, and data quality across the enterprise.

Documentation & Delivery Support (20%)

• Create and maintain technical documentation, solution designs, standards, and operational procedures.
• Track and report project progress using tools such as Jira, Confluence, SharePoint, ServiceNow, and Smartsheet.
• Participate in governance reviews, stakeholder meetings, and project planning activities.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field. Equivalent experience may be considered.
• 10+ years of experience in Master Data Management (MDM).
• 5+ years of experience in MDM Engineering and/or Architecture roles.
• 3-5+ years of hands-on experience with Informatica Intelligent Data Management Cloud (IDMC).
• Strong experience with:
  • Product/Item Master Data
  • Site/Location Master Data
  • Data Governance
  • Data Quality frameworks
• Proven experience configuring:
  • Informatica MDM Data Models
  • Match & Merge
  • Survivorship
  • Hierarchy Management
  • Reference Data Management
  • Business Rules and Workflow
• Strong SQL skills and experience with relational databases such as Oracle, SQL Server, Snowflake, DB2, or similar.
• Experience with REST APIs, JSON, XML, and batch integrations.
• Experience supporting data migration and reconciliation efforts.
• Strong understanding of:
  • Data Modeling
  • Domain-Driven Design Concepts
  • Master Data Management Lifecycle
  • Data Governance and Data Quality Practices

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience implementing multi-domain MDM solutions, including Customer, Product, Supplier, and Site domains.
• Experience with Databricks, Snowflake, Microsoft Fabric, or similar data platforms.
• Experience with Azure Data Factory, Boomi, Informatica CDI, or similar integration technologies.
• Exposure to event-driven architectures and Kafka.
• Familiarity with data catalog, lineage, and reference data management tools.
• Informatica IDMC and/or Informatica MDM certifications preferred.
