Job description

onsemi is seeking a Maintenance Equipment Technician (CMP) in Gresham, OR. As an Equipment Maintenance Technician (CMP) at onsemi's premier 200mm manufacturing facility, you will work in a dynamic team environment and perform preventive, corrective, and diagnostic maintenance proficiently on a variety of innovative semiconductor manufacturing tools. Each day, you will be challenged by working on a diverse set of tools with a world-class team.

Shift: C shift Thursday, Friday, Saturday e/o Wednesday, 7 AM- 7:06 PM.

Specific responsibilities include:

  • Utilize diagnostic equipment to monitor equipment performance, diagnose root causes, and make reliability improvement recommendations.
  • Dismantle, adjust, and repair equipment according to maintenance specifications and repair manuals.
  • Use schematics, hand tools, electrical gauges, and common test equipment for calibration, diagnosis, and repair of equipment.
  • Drive solutions and guidelines by recommending and writing maintenance procedures and specifications.
  • Perform scheduled tool qualifications.
  • Vendor management and coordination.
  • Opportunity to provide leadership to other technicians by providing training and mentoring.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Ability to work Shift: C shift
  • High-level attention to detail
  • Methodical approach to troubleshooting and project management
  • Good written and verbal communication skills
  • Self-motivator; ability to work independently under general guidance and direction
  • Ability to independently learn systems and processes associated with the role
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Ability to work in constrained spaces and awkward positions
  • Ability to apply force and full exertion

Preferred:

  • Associate/technical degree or currently working towards a degree.
  • 5+ years of prior technician experience
  • CMP area equipment experience: AMAT Mirra/ OnTrak, AMAT Mirra/ Mesa, IPEC 776/7700, and IPEC Momentum/OnTrak
  • MS Excel and Word skills are a plus
