The Opportunity

We are looking for an Assistant Mechanical Project Manager with a background in HVAC Systems (Ventilation & Air Conditioning) and experience of overseeing commercial building services engineering works. This is an ideal opportunity for a qualified and enthusiastic site operative who is looking for career progression. Applicants must have a CSCS card, ideally Asbestos Awareness and IPAF. We are also willing to consider CVs from candidates who have recently graduated.

Working within the Operations Department at DL will give you the opportunity to work alongside a team, managing projects up to the value of £1million. You will manage your own time and you will work with some highly experienced and qualified colleagues. Assistant Mechanical Project Manager main duties and requirements:

Completing projects on time and within budget.

Providing support on project planning, scheduling, productivity and progression.

Producing project reports.

Completing and managing risk assessments.

Maintaining health and safety on site, including reports and actions.

You will be required to participate in both internal and external meetings with clients and business associates, therefore professional presentation skills are essential.

Travel throughout the U.K. will be required, with possibility of overnight stays on occasions.
