Specialist Actuarial Modeller

As a Specialist Actuarial Modeller in the Pension Insights and Modelling (PIM) team, you will provide specialist actuarial and financial modelling that helps inform decisions and supports the delivery of The Pensions Regulator's objectives. Working with colleagues across the organisation, you will design, maintain and develop actuarial and financial models, ensuring they produce reliable, high-quality outputs that can be used in reporting, policy development, casework and risk analysis. You will manage complex data and modelling processes, oversee governance and quality standards, and contribute to the development of actuarial assumptions and modelling approaches. The role requires close collaboration with technical specialists from a range of disciplines and offers opportunities to share expertise, support colleagues and mentor newer team members. Your work will help improve understanding of pension scheme funding, investment and risk, providing evidence and analysis that supports decision-making across the regulator.
