Pediatric Orthopedics Center Lead (Chief Physician) | Kolbermoor, Germany | On-site

We are seeking a visionary leader for a nationally recognized specialty hospital, renowned for its expertise in pediatric care, particularly for neurological and orthopedic conditions and limb malformations. As a teaching hospital affiliated with leading universities, we are undergoing a strategic expansion to establish a new operative focus within our pediatric orthopedics department and are looking for a distinguished Chief Physician to spearhead this initiative.

The Role

  • Provide comprehensive medical, organizational, and strategic leadership for the pediatric orthopedics center, with a primary focus on establishing and advancing its operative capabilities.
  • Perform specialized surgical treatments for congenital and acquired musculoskeletal conditions in children and adolescents, including spine, extremities, and neuromuscular disorders.
  • Develop and implement an integrated treatment concept encompassing acute care, surgery, and rehabilitation.
  • Lead, mentor, and expand a high-performing, interdisciplinary team.
  • Foster close collaboration with neurosurgery, neuropediatrics, pediatric rehabilitation, anesthesiology, intensive care, and radiology departments.
  • Represent the center effectively to internal and external stakeholders, including referring physicians, professional societies, and network partners.
