Title: Mainframe AI Automation Engineer

Location: Plano, Jersey city, Charlotte.

Senior engineer driving AI-enabled modernization of mainframe z/OS vulnerability patching through development of agent-based automation to accelerate remediation and reduce security risk.

• Lead the design and development of AI-driven automation frameworks for z/OS patching.
• Build and deploy agent-based workflows to orchestrate vulnerability remediation at scale.
• Integrate AI agents with mainframe systems, APIs, and security tooling.
• Partner with infrastructure and security teams to prioritize and execute patching initiatives.
• Ensure reliability, scalability, and operational readiness of automation solutions.
• 10+ years of experience in mainframe infrastructure engineering, including z/OS, IMS, CICS, and DB2 installation and testing
• Hands-on experience developing AI/agent-based automation frameworks and agents
• Strong Python programming skills in enterprise environments
• Experience developing and integrating with z/OSMF and z/OS Connect APIs
• Experience operating in large-scale enterprise infrastructure environments
• Experience with agent-based or autonomous system architectures.
• Experience with mainframe tooling supporting end-to-end vulnerability patching.
• Exposure to AIOps or AI applied to mainframe infrastructure operations.

Requirements:

• 10+ years of experience in mainframe infrastructure engineering, including z/OS, IMS, CICS, and DB2 installation and testing
