APM is seeking an experienced Global Security Solution Architect to lead the design and standardisation of security architecture across our global technology environment. This is a strategic role where you'll partner with Technology, Security, and Business stakeholders to ensure security is embedded into technology solutions, cloud platforms, applications, and infrastructure.
About the RoleReporting into the Global Security team, you will be responsible for ensuring APM's cyber security architecture aligns with business objectives, regulatory requirements, threat landscapes, and industry best practices.
You will provide expert security guidance across technology initiatives, develop repeatable security patterns and standards, and drive continuous improvement across our global cyber security environment.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and maintain secure architecture patterns and standards aligned to APM's Cyber Security Strategy.
- Partner with regional technology teams globally to drive consistency of security controls.
- Review solution architectures and technical designs to ensure security requirements are met.
- Provide expert advice on cyber security, risk, compliance, and regulatory obligations.
- Support the development of enterprise security architecture and cyber security strategy.
- Benchmark security capabilities against frameworks including ISO 27001, NIST, CIS, MITRE and RFFR.
- Lead continuous improvement initiatives to strengthen APM's security posture.
- Build strong relationships with global technology, security, business, and legal stakeholders.
- Stay current with emerging threats, technologies, and industry trends.
- 5+ years' experience in Security Architecture, Information Security, or a related field.
- Strong knowledge of cyber security frameworks, architecture principles, and risk management.
- Experience working with cloud technologies, particularly Microsoft Azure.
- Strong understanding of Zero Trust security principles and modern security controls.
- Excellent stakeholder engagement, influencing, and communication skills.
- Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CISA, SABSA, or equivalent highly regarded.
- Experience applying architecture frameworks such as TOGAF and SABSA is desirable.
