Requirements
  • 7+ years of experience in Mechanical Engineering for test equipment, environmental chambers, and aerospace systems integration.
  • Proficiency in Siemens NX for mechanical design, modeling, and engineering documentation.
  • Experience in structural design of chambers, containerized test systems, and equipment enclosures.
  • Experience with PLC controls, electrical wiring, control systems, and equipment integration.
  • Experience in hazardous test environments, thermal chambers, dyno systems, and qualification testing.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to lead builds, provide technical guidance, and coordinate stakeholders.
Responsibilities
  • Lead the buildout and integration of containerized testing facilities and specialized test equipment.
  • Design structural systems for chambers, enclosures, and custom testing infrastructure.
  • Oversee installation of electrical controls, wiring systems, and PLC-based equipment solutions.
  • Support deployment and commissioning of thermal, environmental, and performance test platforms.
  • Manage site-level ownership of testing assets, upgrades, maintenance, and operational readiness.
  • Drive multiple engineering projects simultaneously while ensuring quality, safety, and schedule targets.
