SEN / SEND Tutor | Bacup, United Kingdom | Hybrid | £28 - £35 per hour

We are seeking caring and dedicated tutors to work with schools and local authorities, making a significant impact on the lives of young people with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) and Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) needs. The Role

• Provide personalized tuition in Maths, English, or Science to young people aged KS1-KS5 with SEND/SEMH needs.
• Deliver engaging and trauma-informed tutoring in-person, online, and hybrid models.
• Develop flexible, tailored learning plans to support individual pupil progress.
• Collaborate with schools and local authorities to meet the unique educational requirements of each learner.
• Support children with a range of needs including MLD, SLD, and PMLD.

What You'll Need

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS/QTLS).
• A minimum of 2 years of teaching experience, with experience in SEND, SEMH, or related learning difficulties.
• Familiarity with teaching English, Maths, and/or Science.
• Enhanced DBS check (assistance provided if needed) and professional references.
• Knowledge of safeguarding procedures and creating a secure learning environment.
• Right to work in the UK.
