Senior IT Technology Technician

Responsibilities

• Install, configure, and maintain computer hardware and software systems to ensure optimal performance.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues related to network, servers, and end-user devices.
• Conduct regular system inspections and preventive maintenance to minimize downtime.
• Collaborate with other IT professionals to implement new technologies and upgrades.
• Provide technical support and training to staff on various hardware and software applications.
• Document procedures, configurations, and updates to maintain accurate technical records.
• Manage inventory of technology assets and recommend procurement of new equipment as needed.
• Monitor system performance and security, applying patches and updates promptly.

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field.
• Minimum of 5 years experience in a technology support or technician role.
• Strong knowledge of computer hardware, operating systems, and networking concepts.
• Proficiency in troubleshooting and repairing desktops, laptops, and servers.
• Experience with network configurations, firewalls, and security protocols.
• Ability to manage multiple technical projects and prioritize tasks effectively.
• Excellent communication skills to interact with both technical and non-technical personnel.
• Certifications such as CompTIA A+, Network+, or Microsoft Certified Professional are a plus.
