The Role • Participate actively in general trauma surgery consultations. • Provide comprehensive care for trauma patients across the full spectrum of a primary and secondary care facility. • Independently perform surgical procedures for both outpatient and inpatient cases, ensuring thorough pre- and post-operative management. • Support medical documentation through dictation and represent the "Durchgangsarzt" (physician treating work-related injuries) in the relevant procedures. • Participate in the on-call duty system for senior physicians to ensure trauma care availability outside regular hours. What You'll Need • Completed specialist training as a physician in Orthopedics and Trauma Surgery or Special Orthopedics/Trauma Surgery. • Proficiency in performing common trauma surgery procedures and working in interdisciplinary emergency care. • A desire for professional development or initial experience in a senior physician role, ideally with completed courses for the D-Arzt procedure. • Willingness to take responsibility for organizational and content-related processes and to actively contribute to the development of the trauma surgery department. • An empathetic, appreciative demeanor, along with teamwork, initiative, and flexibility.
