Business Systems Analyst x 2

Description

We are looking for experienced Business Systems Analysts to join a Financial Services organization in San Francisco, California on a Long-term Contract basis. In this role, you will translate business needs into clear functional documentation, collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders, and help shape solutions that support measurable business goals. This opportunity is well suited to professionals who can move comfortably between analysis, documentation, and delivery within a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

Elicit, analyze, and document business needs from stakeholders to create clear and actionable requirements. Translate operational objectives into business rules, process definitions, and detailed functional specifications. Produce high-quality artifacts such as workflow documentation, use cases, and solution-related materials for delivery teams. Work closely with Engineering, Product, and Design partners to clarify scope, refine requirements, and support solution development.

Monitor initiatives to ensure deliverables remain aligned with intended business value and organizational priorities. Contribute analysis support across a wide range of business functions, adapting to varied processes and stakeholder needs. Review documentation and system-related details to identify gaps, inconsistencies, and opportunities for improved clarity. Participate in Agile Scrum ceremonies and provide analytical support throughout planning, execution, and validation activities.

Requirements

Proven experience in business analysis within complex, cross-functional environments.
Strong ability to gather requirements and convert them into well-structured functional documentation.
Hands-on experience with document review, requirements validation, and artifact management.
Familiarity with Agile Scrum methodologies and working within iterative delivery teams.
Understanding of CRM platforms and related business processes.
Excellent communication skills with the ability to partner effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Strong analytical thinking and attention to detail when defining business rules and technical fields.
