Application Developer | Chantilly, VA, United States | Hybrid We're hiring for a well-established organization seeking a talented Application Developer to contribute to their mission. This role involves a blend of maintaining and enhancing existing systems while also participating in new development initiatives. The Role • Design, develop, and modify software systems, applications, and tools. • Analyze user needs and software requirements to determine design feasibility within time and cost constraints. • Collaborate with teammates, vendors, and users to develop new program features. • Develop unit and integration tests, and participate in functional and regression testing. • Troubleshoot and resolve production issues by reviewing help desk messages and working with cross-functional teams. • Participate in code reviews, providing and incorporating feedback within established standards. • Deploy code to development, test, and production environments. What You'll Need • High School Diploma/GED with 7+ years of experience in IT. • Strong Java programming and development skills with hands-on experience. • Experience with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and a modern front-end framework (preferably Angular). • Experience with or knowledge of the Spring Framework, RESTful services, SQL, and ORM libraries like Hibernate/JPA. • Experience with Git for source code management, including branching and merging. • An active TS/SCI with Polygraph clearance.
